Definition
- The selection of units (individuals, households, organizations, etc.) from the target population is not based on random selection. It is not possible to determine the probability of each element to be sampled. Use this broader term if the specific type of non-probability is not known, difficult to identify, or if multiple non-probability methods are being employed.
